Boricua Anywhere is growing with a purpose: to help keep Puerto Rican culture visible while supporting the generations that carry it forward. Our mission is to contribute to Puerto Rican education, cultural preservation, and community care — from young Boricuas learning where they come from, to elders whose stories, memories, and traditions deserve to be honored.

Many of us have left the island, moved between countries, or grown up far from the roots that shaped us. In that movement, community can become harder to hold onto. Younger generations may feel disconnected from their history, while older generations can feel forgotten or left behind. Boricua Anywhere exists to help bridge that gap through culture, storytelling, education, and pride.

How We Contribute

Boricua Anywhere donates 15% of profits to support Boricua kids and elders through Puerto Rican education, cultural preservation, and elder care.

Our giving focuses on two areas close to our mission: helping young Boricuas stay connected to Puerto Rican history, identity, and roots, and supporting elders who carry the stories, language, traditions, and memories that keep our culture alive.

But our contribution is not only financial. Through our blog, we also create and share articles that help people learn more about Puerto Rican culture, unknown history, language, humor, family, diaspora life, and community engagement. Our goal is to make Boricua Anywhere a place where people can not only shop, but also reconnect, learn, and feel part of something larger.

CENTRO — The Center for Puerto Rican Studies
CENTRO preserves Puerto Rican history, research, archives, and diaspora stories. Its educational programs help students, educators, families, and communities learn about Puerto Rican identity, migration, culture, and history across generations.

Institute for Puerto Rican / Hispanic Elderly, Inc.
The Institute for Puerto Rican / Hispanic Elderly works to affirm, protect, and empower Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and minority elders and their families. Its mission centers on helping older adults meet essential human needs and remain supported within their communities.

Fundación Pisadas de Amor
Fundación Pisadas de Amor is a Puerto Rico-based nonprofit serving older adults and families. Its work focuses on improving quality of life for Puerto Rican elders through services and support made possible by donors.

Puerto Rican Family Institute
The Puerto Rican Family Institute provides culturally affirming social, educational, health, mental health, and family services to communities in New York City and Puerto Rico. Its work supports children, families, adults, and communities through culturally aware care.
